How To Train Your Dragon (3D)

12.04.10 went to Puri XXI to watch How To Train Your Dragon (3D!) with verena. she wanted to watch it so bad, so we went to watch it haha :)

A Viking teenager named Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor is disliked by his tribe and its chief, Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler). However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. After he entangles a dragon with bolas-shooting cannon, Hiccup releases and ends up befriending the dragon. This relationship flips his world upside down as he strives to convince his tribe that they don't need to be dragon-slayers.

after i watched this movie, now.... i want to have a pet dragon like Toothless! it's loyal like a dog, but you can fly with it. how cool is that? (y) and i admired Hiccup for his braveness. if he didn't have the guts to befriend with Toothless in the first place, he wouldn't have him as a pet (a really nice and loyal pet) :D

ALICE IN WONDERLAND! (3D)

04.03.10 went to Puri XXI to watch Alice in Wonderland (3D!) 15.00 with tasya. we watched it as soon as it came out :D

19-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.

awesome! i can watch this movie over and over and over again! LOL
it's a funny animated drama movie and the mad hatter is just hilarious! Johnny Depp has officially become one of my celebrity crushes.

from paris with love

25.02.10

yesterday was the last day of tryout! finally!
verena, tasya, and me went to Puri Mall to watch From Paris With Love.
actually i wanted to watch Valentine's Day, but it wasn't available in cinemas anymore --"
me and verena arrived at Puri earlier than tasya, because she had additional lessons.
so, we went to Secret Recipe to have lunch and then bought tickets to watch From Paris With Love 15.55 :)

 

A personal aide to U.S. Ambassador in France, James Reece (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) has an enviable life in Paris and a beautiful French girlfriend, but his real passion is his side job as a low-level operative for the CIA. All James wants is to become a bona fide agent and see some real action. cool movie, overall. but the shooting and killing stuff, it scares me. because of the blood. i hate blood. but i love the movie. there's action (a lot of it), drama, and comedy (a little bit). it's a little bit confusing at first, but after the story went on, slowly but sure, i understood the story. oh, and there were a lot of words like the M word and the F word. can't say that it's wrong for being so mean (using those words) since it is an action movie. nice :)

after that, it was already 17.30.. i think and we went to Gramedia (bought Spring in London -Ilana Tan), Pretty, then went to Yogen Fruz and last, Puri Land. we were just walking, seeing things in Puri, cause we had nothing to do.


then we went home :D


eventhough it was a fun day, but i thought yesterday wasn't my lucky day :(
the accident in the school's library, and then in puri .............


well, that's just how it is.
but now, it's already 1.43 AM
so, it's already a new day, right? :)
i hope today is a good day haha

basically, i think it's a film about friendship.

i'm considering watching it, but since it only shows on Blitz Megaplex.
i guess i have to go there with my parents or if i'm lucky, one of my cousins could watch it with me.

30.11.09  today verena , kiki , vero , jea , and me went to see NEW MOON ♥  *finally! at Puri XXI *again

first of all, i wanted to say that i really loved the Twilight series. so obviously i already read the whole series. well, i compared the book to the movie, and there were scenes that i thought was different from the book. for me, those scenes made the difference. the scenes that i thought were pretty important weren't played in the movie. i'm pretty disappointed. :( but overall, i liked the movie, but i didn't love it. 4/5

16.11.09 , today grace , verena , daesy , tasya , and me went to see 2012 at Puri XXI.

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. '2012' is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors


at the beginning of the movie, i didn't really understand the story but when i connected all the sections of the story, it became related. personally, i think it's an awesome movie. it pictured the end of the world in some way that was believable. of course, it was scary to think that the end of the world could be like that. but hey. only GOD knew when the world will end. not us. so all that we can do is just enjoy our life! :)

Meraih Mimpi adalah kisah anak perempuan dan keluarganya yang mencintai binatang dan lingkungan dan tak berhenti bermimpi dan berjuang
